Brian Cohn was practically born into the aftermarket auto parts industry. At age five he began “working” at his father’s jobber store. At age nine he attended his first industry trade show. After graduation from Northwestern University, Brian began his career with Spectrum International. There, he worked closely with the owner, his father, Barry Cohn. Brian learned the business by doing.
A self-described Chief Opportunity Officer, today, Brian Cohn is the President of Multi Parts, a company he co-founded with Barry Cohn. Brian directs the company’s global operations from its U.S. headquarters in Jupiter, Florida. A privately held American company, Multi Parts is a developer and manufacturer of aftermarket auto parts for full line co-manufacturers and their leading global brands. Multi Parts has a fully integrated global network of manufacturing facilities, testing laboratories, logistics, quality control and customer support facilities in Florida, New York, Europe, and China.
Active in the automotive aftermarket, Cohn served on the Auto International Association Board (now the Import Vehicle Community of the Auto Care Association) for over a decade, holding various leadership posts including Vice Chairman and Chairman. Previously, Cohn was named the Auto International Association’s Young Executive of the Year and its “Person of the Year.” Over nearly two decades, Brian has devoted countless hours to various projects on behalf of Auto Care Association and currently serves on its new International Trade Committee. In addition to his work on and on behalf of the board, personally and through Multi Parts, Cohn supports numerous causes specific to the positive evolution of the aftermarket industry. Multi Parts continues to fund multiple GAAS Scholarships.
Brian Cohn is a board member of his local synagogue, and a board member and founder of HearAbility, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established for the sole purpose of supporting individuals and their family members impacted by hearing loss. HearAbility’s focus is on cochlear implants and other hearing aid technology.
In 2013, Multi Parts celebrated its 25th anniversary.
