Brent Windom is President and Chief Executive Officer of IEH Auto Parts LLC d/b/a Auto PlusSM, and Pep Boys
Windom was appointed to the position of President and CEO of Auto Plus in June 2015 after successfully overseeing the acquisition of Auto Plus by Icahn Enterprises L.P. (NASDAQ:IEP) from Canadian-based Uni-Select Inc. (TSX:UNS).
As of February 4, 2016, Windom was also appointed to President and CEO of Pep Boys after Icahn Enterprises L.P. (NASDAQ: IEP), completed the acquisition of The Pep Boys – Manny, Moe & Jack (NYSE: PBY), a leading national automotive parts and service retailer.
Windom will be leading the integration of Pep Boys and Auto Plus, which includes over 21,500 team members and associates, 27 distribution centers, 1,061 corporate locations, comprised of 260 Auto Plus locations, 567 Pep Boys Supercenters, 234 Pep Boys Tire and Service Centers. In addition, products and services are provided to 550 independent store locations and 2400 independent service center locations across the nation.
Prior to Icahn Enterprises’ acquisition of Auto Plus and Pep Boys, Windom served as President and Chief Operating Office of Uni-Select’s U.S. operations after serving in a variety of executive positions within the company. He has been the chief architect of the company’s plans for growth in the United States through strategic acquisitions and “greenfield” developments. Earlier in his career at Uni-Select, Windom was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
Windom is a 30 plus-year veteran and leader in the automotive aftermarket industry, and has been part of four major acquisitions, in each case joining the team of the acquiring company. He served as Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising for MAWDI from 1994 to 2004, when it was sold to Uni-Select. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President at AI Automotive for nine years, until its sale to MAWDI. Windom began his career overseeing sales with Downey Automotive, which was sold to AI Automotive in 1985.
